Seasonal food – September
With the autumnal months fast approaching, we see the warming return of hearty soups and casseroles, as well as a good stodgy roast followed by a fruity crumble drizzled with custard to get us through the cold days that lie ahead. So, here are September's seasonal offerings, accompanied by a few of my recipe suggestions incorporating these ingredients:
